Shalom u'Vrachah!

Regarding the couple in question—Torah law is that the husband must be extremely careful not to cause her distress and must be careful with her honor (see also the end of the laws of Ona'ah in the Alter Rebbe's Shulchan Aruch). Certainly, from now on, he will fulfill this Torah ruling.

If there is any claim or similar matter, it should be brought before a rabbinic authority who will instruct them according to Torah knowledge. And may it be that there will no longer be any error in this matter.

Summary

The Rebbe teaches that a husband must avoid causing his wife distress and honor her, as required by Torah law. Any disputes should be resolved by consulting a qualified halachic authority.
