הנני מאשר בתודה קבלת מכתבה בו כותבת אשר מכמה סיבות תתחיל בכתיבה ע"ד הענין המדובר אחר ראש השנה.
ואף על פי שכמובן חבל על העיכוב בזה, כי הלא בכל דבר טוב יפה שעה אחת קודם, אבל תקותי שכיון שמצדה ויתרה שיהי' באיחור זמן, יתנו לה האפשריות לכתוב בהתאם לכל רציניות הנושא ובהרחבה הדרושה.
ובפרט על פי הנראה מהעתונות הנה בחוגים מסויימים ניכר שינוי לטוב ביחס לענין הילודה, ויהי רצון שיהי' כן גם אצל האבות והאמהות בארצנו הקדושה.
ובעמדנו בימי רצון אלו אחתום באיחולי כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה.

I hereby acknowledge with thanks the receipt of your letter in which you write that for several reasons you will begin writing regarding the discussed matter only after Rosh HaShanah. Although of course it is unfortunate to delay such things—since with every good thing, the sooner the better—I hope that since you have agreed to a delay from your side, you will be given the opportunity to write with all the seriousness and necessary breadth that the subject requires.
Especially as it appears from the press that in certain circles there is a noticeable positive change regarding childbirth, and may it be G‑d’s will that this also be so among fathers and mothers in our holy land.
As we stand in these auspicious days, I conclude with wishes for a good inscription and sealing for a good and sweet year.
