With the arrival of these auspicious days—15 Av and Shabbat Nachamu—I always recall the time and content of our meeting and conversation, as well as the most precious gift: the volumes of Igros Kodesh from our Rebbeim that sit in a box on my desk at all times.
I cannot restrain myself from writing you a few lines to repeat my blessings for the fulfillment of all the blessings with which all our brothers among Bnei Yisrael have blessed you (and my own blessings among them), up to and including the fulfillment of the inner and primary blessing of our days—the fulfillment of the promise: "Nachamu nachamu ami yomar Elokeichem" ("Comfort, comfort My people," says your G‑d), with the coming of Moshiach Tzidkeinu very soon.
As then, so now I am attaching herewith the maamar "Da es Hashem" in connection with your visit here at that time. Especially regarding Torah—we were commanded by the Almighty that every single day it should be as new in your eyes—as is precisely expressed by Rashi: "explained by Moshe to his generation and for generations to come" (Devarim 11:13; 26:16), not as is phrased in some places "like new," but truly new.
