אידישע פרויען האבן ספעציעל פיל צו שעפן פון דער השפעה פון דעם יום-טוב פון קבלת התורה. ווארום, ווי באקאנט, זיינען דאך די פרויען געווען די ערשטע, צו וועמען דער אויבערשטער האט אנגעבאטן די תורה הקדושה, און זיי האבן די תורה באלד אנגענומען, ווי אונזערע חכמים, זכרונם לברכה, דערקלערן די ווערטער: כה תאמר לבית יעקב - "אלו הנשים" - ותגיד לבני ישראל - "אלו האנשים". און דאס אונטערשטרייכט דעם גרויסן זכות פון אידישע פרויען - און צוזאמען דערמיט אויך זייער גרויסע אחריות - פאר תורה און מצוות.
און כאטש יעדן יאר ווערן איבערגע'חזרט אלע ענינים פון יום-טוב, איז אבער דאס גופא אן אנדייטונג, אז די צוגעבונדנקייט צו תורה און מצוות דארף באנייט און אפגעפרישט ווערן אין א שטארקערע מאס פון יאר צו יאר, ספעציעל נעמענדיק אין אכט, אז אויך די מענטשלעכע כוחות שטייגען פון יאר צו יאר.
עס איז דעריבער גאנץ פארשטענדלעך, אז אייער וויכטיקע ארבעט צו שטיצן די הייליקע מוסדות התורה פון ליובאוויטש דארף פארשטארקט און אויסגעברייטערט ווערן פון יאר צו יאר, בפרט אז אויך
די מוסדות התורה האלטן אין איין שטייגען און נויטיגען זיך אין א פארגרעסערטע הילף אלץ מער און מער.
דער אויבערשטער זאל געבן, אז די יערלעכע אונטערנעמונג זאל זיין מיט גרויס הצלחה און זאל אריינברענגען א פארשטארקטע אויפלעבונג אין אייער ארבעט, אין כמות און אין איכות, און בזכות זה זאלט איר אלע, מיט אייערע בני-בית שיחיו, געבענטשט ווערן מיט א צוגאב ברכות אין אלץ וואס מען נויטיגט זיך, בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
The annual luncheon (on the upcoming 11th of Sivan) this year takes place during the days still connected to the festival of Shavuos, and surely all participants will still be under the fresh impression of Zman Matan Toraseinu (the time of the giving of our Torah).
Jewish women have a special abundance to draw from the influence of this festival of Kabbalas HaTorah (receiving the Torah). For, as is well known, it was to the women that the Almighty first offered the holy Torah, and they immediately accepted it. As our Sages, of blessed memory, explain regarding the words: 'Ko somar leveis Yaakov' ('Thus shall you say to the house of Yaakov')—these are the women; 've'sageid livnei Yisrael' ('and tell to the children of Israel')—these are the men. This underscores both the great merit—and together with it, also the great responsibility—of Jewish women regarding Torah and mitzvos.
And although every year all matters of Yom Tov are reviewed again, this itself is an indication that attachment to Torah and mitzvos must be renewed and refreshed in a stronger measure from year to year—especially considering that human capacities also increase from year to year.
It is therefore entirely understandable that your important work in supporting Lubavitch's holy Torah institutions should be strengthened and expanded from year to year, particularly since these Torah institutions themselves continue growing and require ever-increasing assistance.
May Hashem grant that this annual undertaking be with great success and bring about a strengthened vitality in your work—in both quantity and quality—and in this merit may you all, together with your families, be blessed with additional blessings in everything needed, both materially and spiritually together.
