Certainly there is no need to explain to you about the upcoming days of Chanukah, especially what our Sages of blessed memory related—that women too were included in that miracle. Moreover, they had an important share in the miracles and salvations "in those days at this time."

The remembrance of those days, which are recalled and observed at this time, should arouse the desire and resolution to follow in the footsteps of those women—to spread the light of Torah and the candle of mitzvah in a manner that continually increases and adds light, as is taught by the Chanukah candle.

May it be G‑d's will that the inspiration from these days illuminate and permeate your activities throughout the entire year.
