Shalom u'Vrachah!

I acknowledge receipt of your letter. May it be G‑d's will that in accordance with the well-known interpretation at the beginning of this week's Torah portion—after which the entire section is named—the empowering force within the general command "Lech Lecha" will be revealed in each individual among all Israel. Each person should fulfill this command with joy and gladness of heart: "Lech Lecha Me'artzecha" (leave your land—your materialism and physicality), "U'mimoladetecha" (from matters you grew up with and became accustomed to), "U'mibeit Avicha" (from your animal soul's natural tendencies from birth), "El Ha'aretz Asher Areka"—to the land that I will show you—which comes from Above specifically, for one cannot comprehend or know the power of that land, as it is deep and hidden.

And may everything stated immediately afterward be fulfilled in actuality: "Ve'escha... Vehyeh Berachah" (I will make you... and you shall be a blessing)—the ultimate elevation until one becomes a blessing themselves, a source of blessing who blesses Israel. "Venivrichu vecha kol mishpechot ha'adamah" (all families of the earth shall be blessed through you)—so that one's portion in the world is also refined and blessed, until even strangers stand and tend their flock; this is their refinement and elevation until they too are blessed and included among Bnei Yisrael.
