מאשר הנני קבלת המכתב מי"א בתמוז, ותוכנו אודות האברך הנעלה הוו"ח אי"א נו"נ הרב אלי' שי' וואזאנא, בקשר עם משרת שו"ב בק"ק של כת"ר.
ויהי רצון שיכנס למשרתו תפקידו בשעה טובה ומ[ו]צלחת ובודאי אשר כת"ר מצדו יסייע בידו בנוגע לכל ההידורים הדרושים במלאכת שמים האמורה ותלוים בבעלי בתים והאיטלזים וכו' הנשמעים לרב ולא תמיד לשו"ב, ובפרט בשו"ב אשר אך זה עתה בא, ובודאי לכת"ר האריכות בזה אך למותר.
התקוה חזקה אשר ידוע לכת"ר מפרשת חג הגאולה י"ב וי"ג תמוז, שזה עתה באנו מהם, גאולת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר נשיא ישראל
והרי בתר רישא גופא אזיל,
יהי רצון שתהי' נשיאות ראש כל או"א בעניניו הפרטים ובענינים הכללים בם צריך לפעול - גם יחד.
פעולת כאו"א בכל הענינים עליהם מסר נפשו בעל הגאולה והשמחה הנ"ל, וצוה עליהם לתלמידיו, לההולכים באורחותיו, ובכלל - לכל השייכים אליו, בתוככי כלל ישראל.
תהיינה כמאן דבעי למהוי ובזריזות (מצדו) ובמהירות (מצד העזר מלמעלה)
לקיים המטרה הפנימית של כל הפעולות: אנן פועלי דיממא אנן - מאכן ליכטיג - להאיר ועד שיומשך האור למטה להיות - נראה אור.

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 11th of Tammuz and its content regarding the distinguished Avrech, vavac"h iy"a nu"n Rabbi Eliyahu Wazana, concerning his position as shochat and bodek in your esteemed community.
May it be G‑d's will that he enter his role at an auspicious and successful time. Certainly, you will assist him regarding all the necessary stringencies required in this sacred work, which depend on both laypeople and butchers, etc., who listen to the rabbi but not always to the shochat—especially when it is a shochat who has just arrived. Surely you understand this well and further elaboration is unnecessary.
The strong hope is that you are aware from the recent celebration of redemption on 12–13 Tammuz—the liberation of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, leader of Israel—and since "the body follows the head," may it be G‑d's will that each person’s leadership in their personal and communal matters be as it should be.
The actions of each individual in all matters for which the redeemer and rejoicer above gave his life—and commanded his students and followers to do so—should be carried out properly and with alacrity (on your part) and speed (with help from Above), to fulfill the inner purpose of all these activities: "Anan poalei deyoma anan—our task is to bring light," until that light is drawn down below so that "Nir'eh Or—we see light."
