Shalom u'Vrachah!
After the break, your letter from Motzaei Shabbat Kodesh was received, in which you write about your mood not being as it should be. This is surprising, for surely you know that among the foundations of our faith and Torah is the simple belief in Divine Providence—especially as it is thoroughly explained in the teachings of Chassidus—how this applies to every detail and sub-detail of all creation, and all the more so regarding the Jewish people. Since Hashem watches over you within the entirety of Israel down to every detail, it is clear logically—and as an explicit verse states: 'Hashem Li Lo Ira' ('G‑d is with me; I will not fear'), 'Hashem Ro'i Lo Echsar' ('G‑d is my shepherd; I shall not lack')—and there is no need to elaborate on something so easily understood even with minimal contemplation.
Sometimes one of the reasons for a low mood is a general weakness in health; therefore, you should also consult a doctor and follow his instructions, for the Torah has given permission to a doctor to heal.
Certainly you are keeping up with the three well-known daily study portions: Chumash, Tehillim, and Tanya. It is also appropriate that your tefillin be checked if this has not been done within the past twelve months.
Blessings for good news in all the above.
It is surprising: see also below Igros Kodesh letters chet-resh-tzadik-daled and chet-shin-yud-zayin.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that unwavering faith in Divine Providence brings clarity and strength even during times of low spirits. He encourages practical steps—consulting a doctor if needed, maintaining Torah study routines, and ensuring mitzvah observance—to support both spiritual and emotional well-being.
