במענה למכתבו מיום הרביעי, בו כותב ראשי פרקים ממקום לימודו עד עתה וסדרי לימודו מן הרפתקאות שעברו עליו לאחרונה וטלטול ממקום למקום, ואשר עתה חזר לתומכי תמימים דצרפת, ומפרט איזה סברות בהנוגע למקום לימודו והסתדרותו בעתיד.
וכיון אשר שמענו הוראה מכ"ק רבותינו זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע אשר תלמיד ישיבה בכלל ותלמיד ישיבות תומכי תמימים בפרט צריך להתנהג מתאים להוראת הנהלת הישיבה,
והרי מובן האמור גם בפס"ד בנגלה דתורה, ושננתם לבניך אלו התלמידים, וחייב אדם בכבוד רבו וכו'
לכן יפרט עניניו וכל הסברות והטעמים שלו לפני הנהלת תומכי תמימים דברונא ויעשה כהוראתם.
ומובן וגם פשוט שכיון שלכל ענין צריכים לסייעתא דשמיא, הנה כל הוספה מצדו בלימוד תורת הנגלה ותורת החסידות תוסיף בברכות השי"ת והצלחתו בכל האמור בהענינים אודותם כותב.

In response to your letter from Wednesday, in which you outline the main points regarding your place of study until now, your learning schedule, the recent difficulties you have faced and your moving from place to place, and that you have now returned to Tomchei Temimim in France. You detail various considerations regarding your future place of study and arrangements.
Since we have heard instruction from our holy Rebbeim of blessed memory that a yeshiva student in general—and especially a student of Tomchei Temimim—must conduct himself according to the guidance of the yeshiva administration (which is also clear from the revealed part of Torah law: "VeShinantam LeVanecha elu haTalmidim" ("And you shall teach them diligently to your children," meaning the students), and one is obligated to honor his teacher, etc.), you should therefore present all your matters and all your considerations and reasons before the administration of Tomchei Temimim in Brunoy and act according to their instruction.
It is understood and obvious that since every matter requires help from Heaven, any increase on your part in the study of Nigleh Torah and Chassidus will add to the blessings of Hashem and your success in all these matters about which you write.
