נעם לי לקרות בם שעושים הכנות לקראת חגיגת י"ב תמוז הבע"ל.
ובודאי כן הוא בכל בתי ספר הרשת, ומה טוב שישתפו פעולה כולם יחד. ויה"ר שזה ישפיע ג"כ בקירוב הלבבות בין סגל המורים-ות דהרשת ובין המנהלים חברי הנהלה וקירוב לבם כולם כאחד ויחד לעשות רצונו בלבב שלם.
ובמ"ש אודות אופן ההצגה, הרי בודאי שכבר עמדה שאלה זו בחוגים השונים של החרדים לדבר ה' באה"ק ת"ו בחדשים שעברו, ובמילא ידוע איך נהגו ואיך הגיב הצבור על זה, ובהתאם לזה יש להחליט. אבל מובן שצריך לדון ע"ז ולהחליט במושב הנהלת הרשת, כיון שזהו ענין כללי הנוגע לא לבי"ס אחד במקומו אלא לכולם.
במ"ש שלא דרשתי ממנו במיוחד עסקנות הרשת ובכלל חב"ד בכדי שיוכל להתמסד בעבודתו בתור מנהל ולהשתלמותו, הנה אף שלא דרשתי במיוחד, כהביטוי שלו, אבל גם לא פוטר מלעשות ככל שאר המנהלים ועסקני הרשת. ובפרט בענין הקייטנא, שזהו דבר שהזמן גרמא, והנסיון דזמן העבר הראה, איך שזהו דבר טוב ותועלת רבה צפונה בזה, ובפרט אם יהי' מתוכנן הדבר ככל צרכו. ולאידך גיסא נוכחו ג"כ מההיזק ע"י העדר תכנית מסודרת והעדר שיתוף פעולה וד"ל. ויה"ר שעכ"פ עתה יסודר כל האמור...

In response to your letters from the 12th and 14th of Sivan. I was pleased to read that preparations are being made for the upcoming Yud-Beis Tammuz celebration. Certainly this is also happening in all the Oholei Yosef Yitzchak network schools, and it would be best if everyone cooperates together.
May it be G‑d's will that this will also bring about closeness of hearts between the teaching staff of the network and between the administrators and board members—bringing everyone's hearts together as one to fulfill His will wholeheartedly.
Regarding what you wrote about how to present the event: surely this question has already arisen among various circles of those who are careful in matters of G‑d in Eretz HaKodesh in recent months. Therefore, it is known how they acted and how the public responded; accordingly, a decision should be made. However, it is understood that this should be discussed and decided at a meeting of the network's administration since this is a general matter affecting not just one school but all of them.
You wrote that I did not specifically request from you involvement in the network's affairs or in Chabad in general so that you could focus on your work as principal and on your own development. While I did not specifically request it (as you put it), this does not exempt you from doing as all other principals and activists of the network do—especially regarding summer camp activities, which are timely now. Past experience has shown how beneficial these camps are—especially when well planned. On the other hand, harm has resulted from lack of organized planning and cooperation—and that is clear enough.
May it be G‑d's will that at least now everything mentioned above will be properly arranged...
