I acknowledge receipt of your letter. As we stand at Rosh Chodesh Tammuz—the head (not just the beginning, but like a head that includes all the limbs—see Ataret Rosh by the Mitteler Rebbe at its start—so too is Rosh Chodesh in relation) also to the auspicious days of 12th and 13th Tammuz, the redemption of my revered father-in-law, our Rebbe and leader—this itself (all those connected to him—see Tanya ch. 2—follow after the head). May it be G‑d's will that each and every one be redeemed immediately from all matters that confuse, conceal, and obscure; and with joy and a good heart fulfill his role as our Sages taught in their Mishnah: Ani nivreiti leshammesh et koni (I was created to serve my Maker) (specifically—this applies only to Bnei Yisrael—end of Avot—and [blessed is] your Maker is in Atzilus—see AriZal's Siddur. See also Rosh Hashanah 31a top; and Bereishit Rabbah ch. 3 that on the first day the Holy One was alone in His world).
With blessing for good news in both personal matters and general matters.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that Rosh Chodesh Tammuz is a time for personal redemption and renewal. By connecting to our spiritual leaders and serving our Creator with joy, we can overcome obstacles and fulfill our unique purpose in life.
