לאחרי הפסק נתקבל מכתבו מט"ז סיון, וכבקשתו עונה הנני עליו שלא בתור.
בהנוגע לבי"ס לבנות מקצועי - ע"פ השמועה אודות המצב באה"ק ת"ו
(ובכלל) - בחינוך על טהרת הקדש, לדעתי מוכרח לקיים המוסד, ואדרבה לבססו ובאם אפשר להרחיבו, והטעמים מובנים:
א) חינוך על טהרת הקדש ובפרט עתה, הרי כוונתו לא רק לרכוש ידיעות כי אם - ועיקר - ההכנה לחיים על יסודי התורה והמצוה. וכפי שרואים במוחש משפיע ונוגע זה לא רק להמחונכים-ות כי אם גם לביתם בהווה, ועאכו"כ לביתם כשיתחתנו וק"ל, וכל חלישות, באיזה שטח שיהי' בזה, הרי זו חלישות בכללות מערכת היהדות המסורתית. ואם יש מקום לשאלה לכתחלה האם להכנס לשטח פלוני דחינוך זה, הנה לאחרי שכבר התחילו בזה ובמשך כמה שנים ונתפשט הקול אודות המוסד ועניניו, מובנות התוצאות מאי ביסוס וח"ו חיסול המוסד, ותוצאות שאפשרי שיהי' להן המשך בשאר מוסדות התנועה לו שייך המוסד, וחלישות מסוימת בכללות המערכה דחינוך על טהרת הקדש.
ב) נקודה מיוחדת במוסד הנ"ל - כיון שיש לו (או עכ"פ - צ"ל לו) קישור והמשך למוסדות הרשת וכו'. ואף שעד עתה, לצערי הרב, לא שמו לב לבוגרות בתי ספר הרשת, ידוע מאמר חז"ל מי שאכל שום וריחו נודף, יחזור ויאכל שום כו'. ועכ"פ במקצת דמקצת מילא חסרון זה בי"ס המקצועי.
ג) מנקודה שכותבה - ביסוס ושיפור הסמינר למורות, מוכרח שיהי' מוסד שני לו גם בתור מקום קליטה לאלו התלמידות שבתי ספר לנערות דחב"ד מוכרחות לקולטן, ואינן מתאימות לרמה הדרושה של הסמינר למורות, שבודאי תהיינה כאלו.
ד) יש מקום לומר - שאחוז מסוים דבי"ס המקצועי, במשך הזמן, "ישוכלל" באופן שיתאים לדרישת הסמינר למורות, והרי בעוד מועד צריך לדאוג לרעזערוואר משם יבואו תלמידות לסמינר מורות.
ה) עוד יש להוסיף על טעמים האמורים כהנה וכהנה, ובודאי לדכוותי' אין כל צורך בזה.
ומובן שכל הכתוב לעיל יכול לפרסמו בשמי באם תועלת בדבר ואצפה לבשו"ט בהקדם.

After a pause, your letter from the 16th of Sivan was received, and as you requested I am replying to it out of order.
Regarding the professional girls' school—based on reports about the situation in Eretz HaKodesh (and generally) concerning education in purity and holiness—in my opinion it is essential to maintain the institution; moreover, it should be strengthened and, if possible, expanded. The reasons are clear: a) Education in purity and holiness—especially now—is not just about acquiring knowledge but mainly about preparing for life based on Torah and mitzvah. As is evident in practice, this affects not only the students themselves but also their current homes and certainly their future homes when they marry—and any weakness in any area here is a weakness in the entire traditional Jewish system. If there was ever a question at the outset whether to enter this field of education, once it has already begun for several years and word has spread about the institution and its activities, the consequences of not strengthening or even closing it are obvious—including possible ripple effects on other institutions connected to it and a general weakening of education based on purity and holiness.
b) A unique point about this institution is that it has (or at least should have) a connection and continuity with the Reshet institutions, etc. And even though until now—unfortunately—not enough attention has been paid to graduates of Reshet schools, as our Sages say: "One who ate garlic and its smell spreads—should he eat more garlic?" At least to some extent this deficiency has been filled by the professional school.
c) From your point about strengthening and improving the teachers' seminary—it is necessary to have a second institution as well, serving as an intake place for those students from Chabad girls' schools who must be accepted but do not meet the required level for the teachers' seminary; surely there will be such cases.
d) It can be said that over time a certain percentage of students from the professional school will become qualified for entry into the teachers' seminary; therefore, it is necessary ahead of time to ensure a reservoir from which students will come to the seminary.
e) There are further reasons beyond those mentioned above—and surely you do not need them spelled out.
It is understood that everything written above may be publicized in my name if it will be beneficial. I look forward to good news soon.
