לאחרי הפסק נתקבל מכתבו מז' טבת, בו כותב הסברא לארגן חגיגה רבתי לתלמידי הכתות הגבוהות דאזור בפורים הבע"ל והתועלת שבזה.
והנה בכלל כל כגון דא נכון הוא, אבל בד"א כשיש להבטיח (באווארענען) השתתפות מתאימה של התלמידים, והרי בימי פורים ככתבו בודאי תהיינה כמה חגיגות, ועוד ועיקר שבטח כמה מהמשפחות עורכים חגיגות בבתים פרטים זבחי משפחה וכו'.
ולכאורה כדאי הי' להתעניין ע"ד האפשרית לארגן האמור ביו"ד שבט הבע"ל, וכיון אשר השנה חל בערב שבת, יהי' זה בערב יום זה, ז.א. ערב יום ההילולא, ואז סרו החששות האמורות, ובטח יהי' גם הד להענין, שהרי הורגלו כמה מבתי ספר לבקר בכפר חב"ד בקשר עם יום האמור, ולאחרונה נתפרסם באה"ק ת"ו בפעולות בעל ההילולא במדינ[ת] רוסיא בהנוגע לחינוך הילדים וכו'.
בהנוגע להוצאות הקשור בהנ"ל, בודאי גם לו ידוע מצב הקופה בהרשת, בכ"ז באם הענין נוגע לפועל, והעיקר שתהי' השתתפות מתאימה כנ"ל תקותי שהקופה תשתתף עד למאה ועשרים וחמשה - ק"ן לירות.
לפלא שאינו מזכיר מפעולותיו בחדש כסלו ובעיקר בהנוגע להתלמידים-ות, שבודאי ביארו לפניהם פרשת הגאולה והנסים דחדש זה (על הסדר) ט' יו"ד י"ט וימי חנוכה.

After a pause, your letter from the 7th of Teves was received, in which you write about the idea to organize a major celebration for the senior classes in your area on the upcoming Purim and the benefit in this. In general, such things are proper, but this is only when it is possible to ensure (bavarnen) appropriate participation of the students. As you wrote, during Purim there will certainly be several celebrations, and moreover, many families will hold private gatherings—family feasts and so on.
It would seem worthwhile to look into the possibility of organizing this event instead on the upcoming Yud Shevat. Since this year it falls on Erev Shabbat, it would be held on the evening before—that is, Erev Yom HaHilula—and then the aforementioned concerns would not apply. There would also surely be greater impact for the event, as several schools have become accustomed to visiting Kfar Chabad in connection with this day. Recently, activities of the Baal HaHilula in Russia regarding children's education have been publicized in Eretz HaKodesh.
Regarding expenses connected to the above: you are surely aware of the state of the fund in your network. Nevertheless, if this matter comes to fruition and—most importantly—there is suitable participation as mentioned above, I hope that the fund will participate up to one hundred and twenty-five—150 lira.
It is surprising that you do not mention your activities during Kislev, especially regarding the students—surely you explained to them about the redemption and miracles of this month (in order): 9th, 10th, 19th [of Kislev], and Chanukah days.
