לאחר ההפסק נעם לי לקבל מכתבו מיום י"ד חשון.
כיון שקראתי בעתונות ע"ד נסיעתו בנוגע פצויים בעד אחב"י מרומני', וכנראה שהוא בהמשך לזה שדיבר אתי בהיותו כאן, תקותי שהענין נכתר בהצלחה ויבשר טוב.
ויהי רצון שכל הכספים שנתקבלו בתור פצויים - כיון שהנידון הוא כבר ענין של מציאות - ינוצלו באופן שיפצה ג"כ רוחניות הדברים, וכלשון המורגל (ונעשה גם מקודש) - על קידוש השם, על ענינים שיתקדש בהם שמו של השם יתברך.
בקורת רוח מיוחדת קראתי בסיום מכתבו על דבר התענינותו בהקמת הבנין לישיבת קישינוב בקרית גת, ויהי רצון שיצליח בזה למעלה מהמשוער להגדיל תורה ולהאדירה, שיהי' המשך להישיבה מאז, המשך באופן דמוסיף והולך מוסיף ואור.

After the break, I was pleased to receive your letter from the 14th of Cheshvan. Since I read in the newspapers about your trip regarding compensation for our Jewish brethren from Romania—and it seems this is a continuation of what you spoke to me about when you were here—I hope that the matter was crowned with success and that you will bring good news.
May it be G‑d's will that all the funds received as compensation—since this is already a matter of reality—be utilized in a way that also compensates spiritually, as is commonly said (and has become sanctified): for Kiddush Hashem, for matters through which the name of Hashem will be sanctified.
I read with special satisfaction at the end of your letter about your interest in establishing the building for the Kishinev Yeshiva in Kiryat Gat. May you succeed in this beyond expectations to increase Torah and glorify it, as a continuation of the yeshiva from before—a continuation that increases and adds light.
