ל"ג בעומר איז אויך דער טאג, ווען איינער פון די גרעסטע פון רבי עקיבא'ס תלמידים, דער הייליגער תנא רבי שמעון בן יוחאי, האט פארענדיקט זיין שליחות אויף דער וועלט, אנהויבן צו אנטפלעקן די אינערלעכע ליכטיקייט און סודות פון דער תורה, און דורך דעם הייליגען ספר זוהר. דורך רבי שמעון בן יוחאי האט דער אויבערשטער געעפנט א נייען קוואל פון טיפערן ג-טלעכן פארשטאנד, פון אמונה און בטחון, צו דערפרישן און שטארקן דעם אידישן פאלק אין א שווערער צייט פון גלות.
אין געציילטע טעג ארום, דעם ערשטן טאג שבועות, זמן מתן תורתנו, וועט ווערן צוויי הונדערט יאר זינט דער הייליגער בעל-שם-טוב האט פארענדיגט זיין נשמה-שליחות - צו פארשפרייטן און מאכן צוגענגלעך צו אלע אידן די אינערלעכע ליכטיקייט פון תורה און מצוות דורך תורת החסידות. די ג-טלעכע קוואלן וואס רבי שמעון בן יוחאי האט געעפנט פאר יחידי סגולה, האט דער בעל-שם-טוב ברייט צעעפנט פאר אלעמען. דערמיט האט דער אויבערשטער געוויזן נאך א גרעסערן חסד צו זיין אויסדערוויילטן פאלק אין א גאר קריטישע גלות-צייט.
ס'איז איבעריק צו אונטערשטרייכן, אז די דאזיקע צייט איז א ספעציעלע סגולה-צייט פאר יעדער טעטיקייט צו פארשפרייטן תורה ומצוות מיט יראת שמים, אהבת ישראל און מסירות נפש - וואס דאס איז דאך די אויפגאבע פון די ליובאוויטשער מוסדות און אלע וועלכע זיינען מיט זיי פארבונדן.
אויף אייך, אלע אידישע מאמעס און פרויען, בפרט זייענדיג אויסגעבונדן מיט די ליובאוויטשער מוסדות, ליגט א באזונדערע פליכט, וואס איז אויך פונקט אזא גרויסער זכות, צו העלפן דורכפירן די ג-טלעכע כוונה און שליחות. דער אויבערשטער זאל מצליח זיין אייער ארבעט, אין א וואקסענדער מאס, אין גוטען געזונד, פריי פון דאגות און זארג, מיט שמחה און לעבעדיקייט, בגשמיות וברוחניות גם יחד.

Your annual celebration, which will take place this coming Tuesday, two days after Lag BaOmer, will surely be influenced by the impression of today's bright day of Lag BaOmer.
Lag BaOmer reminds us of two important points that are connected to this day and to each other. Lag BaOmer underscores the vital necessity to learn and spread Torah with Ahavas Yisrael and mesirus nefesh (self-sacrifice), as was done in the times of the great Tanna Rabbi Akiva and his students.
Lag BaOmer is also the day when one of Rabbi Akiva's greatest students, the holy Tanna Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, completed his mission in this world—beginning to reveal the inner light and secrets of Torah through the holy Sefer Zohar.
Through Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, Hashem opened a new source of deeper G‑dly understanding—of emunah (faith) and bitachon (trust)—to refresh and strengthen the Jewish people during a difficult time of exile.
In just a few days around now—the first day of Shavuos, Zman Matan Toraseinu—it will be two hundred years since the holy Baal Shem Tov completed his soul's mission: to spread and make accessible to all Jews the inner light of Torah and mitzvos through Toras HaChassidus. The G‑dly sources that Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai opened for select individuals were broadly opened by the Baal Shem Tov for everyone. With this, Hashem showed an even greater kindness to His chosen people during a very critical time in exile.
It is unnecessary to emphasize that this period is a particularly auspicious time for every activity to spread Torah and mitzvos with yiras Shamayim (awe of Heaven), Ahavas Yisrael, and mesirus nefesh—which is indeed the mission of Lubavitch institutions and all those connected with them.
Upon you—all Jewish mothers and women—especially being connected with Lubavitch institutions—rests a special responsibility (which is also an equally great merit) to help fulfill this Divine intention and mission.
May Hashem grant success to your work in increasing measure—with good health, free from worries or concerns—with joy and vitality—in both material and spiritual matters together.
