איך האב מיט פארגעניגען באקומען די מיטטיילונג וועגן דעם יערלעכן באנקעט וואס דארף פארקומען אי"ה דינסטאג, י"ב טבת הבע"ל.
זיכער טוען די פירערשאפט און אלע מיטגלידערינס תי' אלעס וואס איז פון זיי אפהענגיק צו פארזיכערן דעם דערפאלג פון דער אונטערנעמונג. דערמיט ווערט געמיינט ניט נאר די צוגרייטונגען צום באנקעט, נאר אויך די "איינקאסירונג" פון די גוטע - פינאנציעלע און גייסטיקע - רעזולטאטן, ווארום רעזולטאטן פון א יערלעכע אונטערנעמונג דארפן זיך פילן א גאנץ יאהר.
ווי איך האב שוין מערערע מאל אונטערשטראכן, איז היי-יאר א ספעציעלער סגולה-יאר, אזוי ווי עס ווערט 200 יאר זינט דער הסתלקות-הילולא פון דעם בעל-שם-טוב, דער גרינדער פון חסידות הכללית, און 200 יאר זינט דער אלטער רבי, דער גרינדער פון חב"ד, האט אנגעהויבן עסקנות ציבורית אויף א ברייטן פארנעם.
עס איז באוואוסט, אז נאר פאר זיין אנטפלעקונג אלס בעל-שם-טוב - האט ער אנגעהויבן זיין ארבעט צווישן אידן און מיט אידן - אלס א באהעלפער אין א חדר, כדי אפצוגעבן זיך מיט דעם חינוך פון קליינע קינדערלעך. און דערנאך האט ער גענומען אנטפלעקן - צו אלעמען און ביז צום היינטיגן טאג - דעם דרך החסידות מיט איר ווארעמקייט און ליכטיקייט, וואס איז דאן נאך ברייטער, און מיט דער גרעסטער מסירות נפש, דערקלערט געווארען און באלויכטן געווארען דורך דעם אלטן רבי'ן.
דאס איז אויך דער אינהאלט פון אייער טעטיקייט, אלס אידישע פרויען און מאמעס, צו דערציען אידישע קינדער אין לעבעדיגען ווארעמען און ליכטיגען אידישן תורה וועג, און העלפען די ישיבות "תומכי תמימים" צו דערציען די תלמידים שי' אין דעם וועג, אין דעם דרך פון בעל-שם-טוב און אלטן רבי'ן.
דער זכות פון דער דאזיקער הייליקער ארבעט וועט זיכער ביישטיין יעדער איינער פון אייך און אייערע בני-בית - שיחיו - צו הצלחה אין אלע אייערע ענינים בגשמיות וברוחניות.

I received with pleasure the notice about the upcoming annual banquet, which is to take place, G‑d willing, on Tuesday, 12 Teves, may it be for good. Certainly, the leadership and all members are doing everything within their ability to ensure the success of this endeavor.
This refers not only to preparations for the banquet itself but also to securing good results—both financial and spiritual—because the results of an annual undertaking should be felt throughout the entire year.
As I have emphasized several times already, this year is a particularly auspicious one: it marks 200 years since the passing (yahrtzeit) of the Baal Shem Tov, founder of general Chassidus, and 200 years since the Alter Rebbe—the founder of Chabad—began his public communal work on a broad scale.
It is known that only after he was revealed as Baal Shem Tov did he begin his work among Jews and with Jews—as a helper in a cheder (children's school), to devote himself to educating young children. Afterwards he began to reveal—to everyone and until this very day—the path of Chassidus with its warmth and light, which has since become even broader and with great self-sacrifice, explained and illuminated by the Alter Rebbe.
This is also the essence of your activity as Jewish women and mothers: to raise Jewish children in a lively, warm, and bright Torah-true Jewish way; and to help Tomchei Temimim educate its students in this path—the path of the Baal Shem Tov and Alter Rebbe.
The merit of this holy work will surely stand by each one of you and your families for success in all your matters—materially and spiritually.
