I acknowledge receipt of your letter from Tuesday, the day that is doubled in goodness, in which you describe the situation of those who have settled in Kfar Argentina and mention that you were also one of its founders.
It is certainly unnecessary to elaborate that you have a sacred obligation to do everything possible—and even more—to strengthen Yiddishkeit there in all its details. If everyone is obligated in this, how much more so is someone who has a share in its founding. As our Sages say: 'Lefum gamla shichna' (according to the camel is its load), meaning that Hashem gives each person the abilities needed for what is incumbent upon him to fulfill. Surely you too have been given these abilities; one must simply not tire from acting once, twice, or many times.
When one acts with pleasantness and peace and with heartfelt warmth, we have the assurance from our Sages that 'words that come from the heart enter the heart of the listener.' Especially when dealing with Jews—about each one it is said: 'Although I am asleep'—in exile—because of exile matters which are unending until Moshiach comes soon and redeems us all—still 'my heart is awake.' As the Midrash explains: there remains warmth and closeness to Hashem, His Torah and mitzvos. One only needs to approach them with fitting words and necessary warmth and heartfelt Ahavas Yisrael; this then brings about a positive transformation even greater than imagined.
