לאחרי הפסק ארוך נתקבל מכתבו מיום כ' וכ"ח אד"ר, בו כותב חוו"ד הרופא בהנוגע לבריאות,
ולפלא קצת מ"ש שנתוח הפראסטאטע הוא ענין חמור, ואף שלפני איזה שנים עשו מקצתו, והרי כאן עושים כהנ"ל ונחשב לנתוח רגיל, ואף שיש בזה ענינים הצריכים בירור ע"פ שו"ע (כי ע"פ רוב חותכים השבילים), אבל כיון שכבר נעשה קצתו בטח גם אין מקום לבירור זה, כן קצת אינו מובן מ"ש שקשה לפרר האבן מפני גודלו, דלכאורה אין זה נפק"מ, ובכל אופן - בהנוגע לפועל, יתייעץ עוד הפעם עם שני רופאים במקצוע ויעשה כדעתם משותפת, והשי"ת הרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות יתן להם הרעיון הנכון, לאיזה טפול ליעצו ויצליח הטפול,
והרי נמצאים אנו בחדש אדר אשר ימי מזל והצלחה הם לכל ישראל.
תקותי אף שאינו מזכיר מלה עד"ז, שכן עושה בהפצת המעינות ורצוני לקוות שגם מוסיף בזה כהציווי דמעלין בקדש.

After a long pause, your letter from the 20th and 28th of Adar Rishon was received, in which you write the doctor's opinion regarding health. It is somewhat surprising what you wrote that prostate surgery is a serious matter, even though a partial procedure was done some years ago. Here it is considered a routine operation, even though there are issues that need clarification according to Shulchan Aruch (since usually the ducts are cut), but since part of it has already been done there is certainly no longer reason for this clarification. Also, it is not clear what you wrote about the difficulty in breaking up the stone due to its size; seemingly this makes no practical difference. In any case—regarding what to do—you should consult again with two doctors who are specialists in this field and act according to their joint opinion. May Hashem, the Healer of all flesh Who works wonders, grant them the correct idea for which treatment to advise and may the treatment be successful. We are now in the month of Adar which is a time of good fortune and success for all Israel.
I hope—even though you do not mention anything about this—that you continue spreading the wellsprings [of Chassidus], and I wish to hope that you are also increasing in this as per the instruction to always ascend in holiness.
