Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter, in which you write that several years ago you moved to Eretz HaKodesh (may it be rebuilt and established), and you do not have peace of mind because in your previous place there is a woman whom you have known for several years, and you feel abandoned, etc., and you ask my opinion about this.
You should thank the blessed Hashem, Who watches over each person with individual Divine Providence, that you are now in countries far from each other. Ultimately, this will add to your peace of mind and health. With the blessings of Hashem in general for both her and for you—for the Giver of the Torah and Commander of the mitzvah is the Creator of the world and its Guide, and the source of all blessings. Any conduct not in accordance with His will stands in contradiction to receiving His blessings in all one's needs. Even though sometimes this is not seen with physical eyes, this is only temporary because Hashem wants to test a person—to see if he understands and will act according to His will and withstand the test. But ultimately it is clear that undesirable conduct damages blessing, etc.
If you truly seek the good of this mentioned woman—and surely also your own good—then as stated above, you should thank Hashem for the distance between your locations. Live in peace and tranquility of soul and with a good heart together with everyone from your family and household.
It is appropriate that every weekday before putting on tefillin, you set aside a few coins for tzedakah.
With blessing for good news in all the above.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that even difficult separations are guided by Divine Providence for our ultimate good. We should trust G‑d's plan, seek inner peace where we are placed, act according to His will, and reinforce our spiritual routine through daily acts of tzedakah.
