ויהי רצון אשר מתאים לתאריך מכתבו בפרשת השבוע בה נאמר, דבר אל אהרן גו' בהעלותך את הנרות, ופירשו רז"ל עד שתהא שלהבת עולה מאלי'.
הנה ימלא גם הוא תפקידו (שכאו"א מבנ"י הוא חלק מממלכת כהנים וגוי קדוש) באופנו, להדליק נר ה' נשמת אדם בבנ"י שבא עמהם במגע, פעם אחר פעם, עד שתהא שלהבת עולה מאלי'.

Your letter was received on Erev Shabbat Kodesh Behaaloscha. May it be G‑d's will that, in accordance with the date of your letter during the week of the Torah portion in which it is said, "Daber el Aharon... Behaaloscha et haNerot" ("Speak to Aharon... when you kindle the lamps"), and as our sages explain: until the flame rises on its own—so too should you fulfill your role (as every single one of Bnei Yisrael is part of a kingdom of priests and a holy nation) in your own way: to kindle the lamp of G‑d, which is the soul of man, in every Jew with whom you come into contact, time after time, until the flame rises on its own.
