Shalom u'Vrachah!
In response to your letter from Sunday, in which you write regarding the continuation of your studies.
It is understood and also simple that you should learn in a yeshiva where both Nigleh (the revealed part of Torah) and Chassidus are studied together. The idea of "together" is clear: in the study of Nigleh, it should be apparent that an Avrech who is chassidic is learning; and in the study of Chassidus, it should be apparent that this learner has his portion in the study of Nigleh as is fitting.
This is as explained in various places, among them Likkutei Torah*, regarding "Ashrei mi sheba lekan v'Talmudo b'yado" ("Fortunate is he who comes here and his learning is in his hand"). In both words there is precision: "Talmud" (literally—Nigleh), and specifically "in his hand," meaning it did not remain below in this world (see Tanya, beginning of chapter 40), and this suffices for the understanding.
With blessing for good news.

Summary
The Rebbe teaches that true Torah study integrates both Nigleh and Chassidus so each influences the other. This holistic approach ensures one's learning elevates both intellect and spirit, fulfilling the ideal described by our sages.
