After a long pause, I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 3rd of Iyar. At an auspicious time, all those you wrote about will be mentioned at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal l'havdil ben chaim mezal ziya, each one for what he needs.

It is surprising that you write so briefly—almost nothing—regarding activities within Tzerei Agudas Chabad, especially in spreading the wellsprings. May it be G‑d's will that this is only a lack in writing but not in action.

Although I have already written that it is evident that knowing one will eventually report about activities to someone brings an increase in those activities—whether in quantity or quality or both together. May it be G‑d's will that you share good news about this.

Especially since we are now in the month of Ziv (Iyar), when the "luminaries of the world" were born. It is known from the AriZal that when days are recalled (they are also) enacted; thus, there is an increase in all matters—both general and particular—in true freedom and redemption, to increase the radiance and illumination of our forefathers' deeds. As explained in Tanya, all their limbs and actions were solely for the Supreme Will all their days.
