בו כותב ר"פ מפעולותיו בקדש, ויהי רצון שתכה"י יבשר טוב מענינים הכללים ומעניניו הפרטים.
ובמענה לשאלתו, באם יהי' אחד היועצים של ועד הכשרות.
באם ועד זה הוא עטה"ק, ז.א. מאורתו[דו]כסים, עכ"פ זוהי שיטתן, יקבל הצעה זו, אבל כמו שכתבתי, לא יהי' מהמכשירים, וק"ל.
בשאלתו בהנוגע לסידור קדושין.
הנה כיון שיש לו סמיכה לרבנות, ובטח מזמן לזמן חוזר על הלכות, הרי באם החתונה היא כדבעי, ז.א. באותו התנאי שכותב, יכול לעשות את זה.
נהניתי מסיום מכתבו, שמזמן לזמן יפרסם בעתון המודפס במחנם הט' מענינא דיומא.
ויהי רצון שגם זה יהי' אחד האמצעים להפצת היהדות בכלל והפצת המעינות ביחוד, ויהי רצון שיהי' זה מתוך שמחה וטוב לבב...

I acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 25th of Shevat with its enclosure.
In it you write briefly about your activities in holiness, and may it be G‑d's will that you will soon report good news regarding both communal matters and your personal affairs.
In response to your question about whether to serve as one of the advisors to the kashrus board: If this board is under the authority of the holy community (meaning from their own customs—at least this is their approach), you should accept this offer. However, as I have written before, you should not be among those who certify (the kashrus), and this is clear.
Regarding your question about officiating at weddings: Since you have rabbinic ordination and certainly review the laws from time to time, if the wedding is conducted properly—that is, under the conditions you describe—you may perform it.
I was pleased by the conclusion of your letter that from time to time you will publish in their camp's printed newspaper matters relevant to current events. May it be G‑d's will that this too will be one of the means for spreading Judaism in general and spreading the wellsprings in particular. May it be G‑d's will that this be done with joy and gladness of heart...
