Regarding what you wrote about traveling here—it is known what my opinion is on this: that it is a sacred duty for the students of Tomchei Temimim in Lod to study in such a way that this yeshiva becomes renowned throughout all corners of Eretz HaKodesh for praise, for a name, and for glory. This depends solely and entirely on the students themselves—and they should not distract themselves with thoughts about traveling to any other place whatsoever. May you merit and succeed in influencing yourself and the other students in this matter, for this is truly good for them in both material and spiritual matters.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that true success comes from focused dedication to one's current mission. Distractions about going elsewhere only hinder personal growth and the collective reputation of the yeshiva. Influence others by setting an example of commitment where you are.
