In response to your letter from the 22nd of Kislev, in which you write about the farbrengen connected with the bright day of Yud-Tes Kislev, our redemption and the liberation of our soul: there is no basis for your distress over having invited broader circles. On the contrary, you did well. The closer circles should be invited on other auspicious days and even on Shabbatot, whereas those who currently have only a minimal connection to Chassidus—if not on days like Yud-Tes Kislev and similar occasions, then when?

Regarding what you wrote about someone who made remarks concerning other Chassidim to those who are not Chassidim—it is surprising that you did not emphasize what is stated in Tanya chapter 32. This is the written Torah of Chassidus, as explained in a letter from my father-in-law, the Rebbe. Even opponents (due to lack of understanding) testify that they wonder why we draw close even those who are distant—and this is clear.
