We acknowledge receipt of your letter from the 4th of Kislev, in which you write about the classes, the students, their study schedule and progress. You can be at ease knowing that your report has satisfied me. As is well known, our holy Rebbeim—the founders and directors of Yeshivas Tomchei Temimim, namely the Rebbe Rashab and his son the Previous Rebbe—were extremely meticulous about every detail concerning Tomchei Temimim yeshivos, down to their smallest particulars. Furthermore, they were precise in this matter as explained at the beginning of Shaar HaYichud: contemplation must be specifically in detail. Man below is called so because he resembles the One Above; tzaddikim resemble their Creator to the extent that they will eventually be called by His Name. This is clear.

Certainly you have already prepared a plan to utilize the upcoming days—Yud-Tes Kislev and Chanukah—for the benefit of developing and expanding all aspects of this holy institution as much as possible, both quantitatively and qualitatively. May Hashem grant you success, as is ruled by the well-known Heavenly Court.
