במענה על מכתבו מכ"א תמוז, בו כותב אשר התדבר עם הרה"ח וכו' הרנ"ן שי' המשפיע שלו וגם עם הרה"ג הרה"ח מוהרב"א שי' גאראדעצקי, ושניהם הסכימו שיסע למרוקה על מנת לעשות שם בחינוך על טהרת הקדש של בני ישראל.
ואם כנים הדברים ומקבל זה על עצמו בתום לבב, נכון הדבר וטוב, אלא שעוד זאת שעליו להביט על עצמו כמו שהוא באמת תלמידה של הישיבה הק' תומכי תמימים שנקראים בשם נרות להאיר, פירוש שבכל מקום בואו עליו להאיר נשמות בני ישראל באור אלקי על ידי השפעתו עליהם בלימוד התורה ביראת שמים וקיום מצותי' בהידור, ועל ידי זה יצליח בכל האמור.

In response to your letter from the 21st of Tammuz, in which you write that you spoke with Haraha"ch etc. Haran"n shiyichyeh, your mashpia, and also with Haraha"g Haraha"ch Moharav"a shiyichyeh Garodetzki, and both agreed that you should travel to Morocco in order to work there in education according to the purity of holiness for the children of Israel.
If these matters are true and you accept this sincerely, it is correct and good. However, you must also look at yourself as you truly are—a student of the holy yeshivah Tomchei Temimim who are called "lamps to illuminate." This means that wherever you go, you must illuminate the souls of the Jewish people with Divine light by influencing them through Torah study with awe of Heaven and meticulous mitzvah observance. Through this you will succeed in all the above.
