In response to your letter from Rosh Chodesh HaGeulah, the month of Tammuz, with its enclosure, thank G‑d for the good news that you have decided to add more. As I have written before, more than the material aspect of this matter is the inner dimension—that your actions are valued, and through this the hope is strengthened that in a reflected way this will affect you and your wife to increase your activities in supporting and spreading Judaism. All the more so regarding past activities which one knows oneself should have been done many times over; nevertheless, even simple householders recognize and appreciate them, etc. Certainly when the activities will grow as needed or at least as much as possible in the present. It is already explained in many places that the effect of Or Chozer (reflected light) is greater than that of Or Yashar (direct light). The time has already come to be involved not only in supporting and spreading Judaism in general but also in spreading the wellsprings outward. May it be G‑d's will that there will also be good news in this area and not postponed for later.
