ע"י הרה"ח אי"א נו"נ מלאכתו מלאכת שמים מו"ה אברהם שי' ליסאן, קבלתי ידיעות אודותו ובבקשת ברכה לבנין בית. ובעת רצון אזכירו על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע למילוי משאלות לבבו לטובה, וכיון שהרוחני והגשמי אצל איש הישראלי יחד יהלכו, בודאי למותר לעוררו להתחזק בבנין ביתו ברוחניות, כוונתי אשר הד' אמות שלו וחלקו בעולם יהיו באופן של קביעות למחסה מזרם ומטר שזהו בא ע"י שמיוסדים החיים על יסודי התורה והמצוה שהם נצחיים ואיתנים בכל זמן ובכל מקום (יעוין ג"כ סוטה מ"ד ע"א, המשך מים רבים תרל"ו לכ"ק אדמו"ר מוהר"ש בסופו) וזה ימעט הקישוים בבנית בית בגשמיות כפשוטו ויקרב הענין.
הנ"ל כותב לי אשר אביו הי' מהנוסעים והיושבים אצל כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהרש"ב נ"ע, ואתענין לדעת יותר פרטים בזה, ואם נשאר אצלו כתבים או רשימות וכיו"ב.
כן נודעתי מהנ"ל אשר מורה הוא בבית ספר דתי, ובודאי למותר להאריך בגודל הזכות וביחד עם זה גם גודל האחריות אשר על שכם המחנכים בכל התקופות, ועאכו"כ בתקופתנו זו ובארץ אשר עיני ה' אלקיך בה מראשית השנה עד אחרית שנה, וכיון שעל שכמו אחריות זו, בודאי ניתנו לו הכחות לפעול בזה ככל הדרוש, ואין הדבר תלוי אלא ברצון, ויה"ר שיעשה ככל יכולתו, והשי"ת יצליחו.

Through Haraha"ch iy"a nu"n whose work is the work of Heaven Avraham Lisan, I received information about you and a request for a blessing to build a home. At an auspicious time I will mention you at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal lehe nbgm zya, for the fulfillment of your heart's wishes for good. Since for a Jew the spiritual and material always go together, it is certainly unnecessary to remind you to strengthen yourself in building your home spiritually. My intention is that your four cubits and your portion in the world should be established as a constant shelter from storm and rain; this comes when life is founded on the principles of Torah and mitzvah, which are eternal and strong at all times and in all places (see also Sotah 44a, Maamar Mayim Rabim 5636 by my revered ancestor Maharash at its end). This will lessen the difficulties in building a physical home in the literal sense and bring it closer.
You wrote to me that your father was among those who traveled to and stayed with my revered ancestor Maharashab n"a. I am interested to know more details about this, and whether you have any writings or notes from him or similar items.
I have also learned from you that you are a teacher in a religious school. Certainly there is no need to elaborate on the great merit—and along with it, also the great responsibility—that rests on the shoulders of educators in every era, all the more so in our times and in the land about which it is said: "the eyes of Hashem your G‑d are upon it from the beginning of the year to year's end." Since this responsibility rests upon you, surely you have been given all the strengths needed to fulfill it as required; all that is needed is willpower. May it be His will that you do all you can, and may Hashem grant you success.
