... ת"ח על כתבו מההתועדות בימי הסגולה שעברו, ובודאי גם להבא ינהג במנהג טוב זה, והרי גם זה נכנס בציווי השי"ת שהוא כלל גדול בתורה ואהבת לרעך כמוך לגרום נחת רוח פנימי לאיש הישראלי ובמרבית המכתבים שמתקבלים הרי לע"ע מעטים המכתבים בתוכן גורם קורת רוח שלכן יקר יותר כל מכתב כזה. ויה"ר שהתועדות הנ"ל וכן אלו שבעתיד יביאו לפעולות גם במעשה נוסף על ערכן מצד עצמן שגם זה אין די באר, ובכל זה גדול עוד המעשה וכדבר משנה, המעשה עיקר.

Shalom u'Vrachah!
Thank you very much for your letter about the farbrengen during the recent auspicious days. Surely you will continue this good practice in the future as well. This too is included in the command of the Holy One, blessed be He—which is a great principle in Torah—VeAhavta LeRei'acha Kamocha ("Love your fellow as yourself")—to bring deep inner satisfaction to a fellow Jew. Among the many letters received, at present only a few contain content that brings satisfaction; therefore each such letter is even more precious.
May it be G‑d's will that the aforementioned farbrengen, as well as those in the future, will lead to practical actions in addition to their inherent value—which itself cannot be adequately described. Yet above all is action itself, as stated in the Mishnah: "Action is essential."
With blessings in the words of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe: Tzu a gezunten zumer (for a healthy summer) and for good news regarding all of the above.
