במענה על מכתבה מיום השלישי בו כותבת אודות בנה שליט"א.
...ובהנוגע להתלבושת, הנה מובן שצודק בעלה הרב בטענתו כי ככל שתהי' התלבשות שלו כמו שהיתה מקדם, זה עצמו ימעט הנסיונות שעומד בהם, כיון שע"י התלבושת לא יפגש כלל או עכ"פ לא יפגש לעתים תכופות עם נוער בלתי רצוי.
ובהנוגע לסדר היום שלו, הנה צריך להשתדל ככל האפשרי שילמוד לימודי קדש בחברותא, הן בכדי שיהי' הלימוד בן קיימא יותר ולא יקשה בעיניו, וגם בכדי שלא יהי' בהתבודדות, ובכללות יש להשתדל להמציא לו עסקנות בין הנוער הכי חרדי, אם ע"י עריכות מסיבות שבת או שיארגן כתה של קטנים ממנו בשנים ללמוד עמהם לימודי קדש בלוית סיפורים דיראת שמים וכיו"ב, שזה יעורר בעצמו השתדלות להיות דוגמא בכל האמור, וביחד עם זה ימעט זמני ההתבודדות, ובודאי בלי קישוים אפשר למצוא ילדים כהנ"ל וגם מהתלמידים דבתי ספר שלאחרי הצהרים חפשים לנפשם וכיו"ב.

In response to your letter from Tuesday in which you write about your son, sheyichyeh.
...Regarding his clothing, it is clear that your husband the Rav is correct in his view that the more your son dresses as he did previously, this itself will reduce the challenges he faces, since through such attire he will not encounter, or at least not frequently encounter, undesirable youth.
Regarding his daily schedule, every effort should be made for him to study Torah subjects with a study partner—both so that the learning will be more lasting and not difficult for him, and also so that he will not be isolated. In general, efforts should be made to involve him in activities among the most observant youth—whether by arranging Shabbat gatherings or organizing a class of younger children for him to teach Torah subjects along with stories of awe of Heaven and similar things. This will inspire him to strive to be an example in all these matters and at the same time reduce periods of isolation. Certainly, without difficulty it is possible to find such children as mentioned above, including students from afternoon schools who are looking for something meaningful.
