נעם לי לקבל מכתבה, בו כותבת אודות סדר לימודי' ושאיפותי', וכבקשתה אזכירה בעת רצון על הציון הק' של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע להצלחה בזה.
והנה מבואר בכמה מקומות ורואים גם במוחש אפילו בעיני בשר אשר כל אחד ואחת עליו להיות מקבל וגם משפיע מתאים לסביבתו וכשרונותיו, וכיון - כהתחלתה במכתבה - שחונכה על ברכי החסידות בבית תמימים מדור דור, מובן ופשוט שעלי' להיות עינה טובה בשל אחרים, להראותם האור כי טוב, אור תורת החסידות חב"ד הדרכותי' ומנהגי', וכיון שזהו עושרה בערך הסביבה בה נמצאת, ענינה ומצות הצדקה שלה שצדקה שקולה כנגד כל המצות, היא בענין זה, ואם הוטל עלי' חוב קדוש זה, בודאי שניתנו לה עוד קודם לזה הכחות למלאות את תפקידה, ובטח תעשה בזה במרץ המתאים ובאופן המתאים, וביחוד שבטח רוב החבירות שלה מתכוננות לעבוד לאחר משך זמן בשדה החינוך, זאת אומרת שכל הוספה לטוב שבכל אחת מהן תכפל כמה פעמים ככה בתלמידותיהן בימים יבואו.
ובורא עולם ומנהיגו אשר מדתו מדה כנגד מדה אלא שכמה פעמים ככה, ירבה ברכתו והצלחתו בעניני' הפרטים נוסף על הצלחתה בכל האמור.

I was pleased to receive your letter, in which you write about your study schedule and aspirations. As you requested, I will mention you at an auspicious time at the holy resting place of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe zatzukal-leha nabgam zya, for success in this matter.
It is explained in many places—and we see it tangibly even with our physical eyes—that every individual must be both a recipient and an influencer according to their environment and abilities. Since—as you began your letter—you were raised on the foundations of Chasidut in a family of Temimim for generations, it is clear and simple that you must have a generous eye toward others, showing them the goodness of the light—the light of Chabad Chasidut, its guidance and customs. Since this is your wealth relative to your surroundings, your purpose and mitzvah of tzedakah—since tzedakah is equal to all the mitzvot—is in this area. And if this sacred obligation has been placed upon you, surely you have already been given the strength to fulfill your role. Certainly you will do so with appropriate energy and in a fitting manner—especially since most of your friends are likely preparing to work in education after some time; meaning that every improvement in each of them will multiply many times over through their future students.
The Creator and Ruler of the world—whose measure is measure for measure but multiplied many times—will increase His blessing and success for you personally, in addition to success in all the above.
