במענה על מכתבו מרביעי בטבת, אשר כמאמר רז"ל הגוף נהנה מן הגוף, שזהו אחד הטעמים שנקרא טבת מלשון טוב, וכיון שהתורה אישרה שמות החדשים שעלו מבבל עמהם וגם שם זה בכלל, מובן שגם התורה מאשרת שהנ"ל טוב הוא. וי"ל פנימיות הטעם ע"פ המבואר בתורת החסידות, אשר לעתיד לבוא תקבל הנשמה חיותה מן הגוף שבו נמצא הגבוה גבוה יותר, שדוקא הוא ירד מטה מטה יותר עד להגוף, אלא שעתה הוא בהעלם ולע"ל יתגלה האמת גם בזה, וזהו המעלה אשר ותלקח אסתר - כנסת ישראל שנק' בזמן הגלות אסתר - אל המלך - מלכו של עולם - אחשורוש - שאחרית וראשית שלו, בחדש העשירי הוא חדש טבת, וכנ"ל.
ויאריך השי"ת ימיו ושנותיו בנעימים בגוף בריא ביחד עם זוגתו שתליט"א, ותקוים בו הוראת הרמב"ם אשר היות הגוף בריא ושלם מדרכי השם הוא.

In response to your letter from Wednesday of Tevet, as our Sages say: "the body derives pleasure from the body." This is one of the reasons why Tevet is called from the root "good." Since the Torah affirmed the names of the months that came with them from Bavel—including this name—it is understood that Torah also affirms that this (Tevet) is indeed good.
The inner reason can be explained according to what is clarified in Chassidus: In the future, the soul will receive its vitality from the body, within which lies an even higher level—the highest descends lower and lower until it reaches the body. However, now this is hidden; in the future, this truth will be revealed. This is also the advantage in "and Esther was taken"—Knesses Yisrael, which during exile is called Esther—"to the king," meaning King of the world—Achashverosh—whose end and beginning are His. In the tenth month, which is Tevet—as above.
May Hashem lengthen his days and years pleasantly with a healthy body together with his wife—may she live and be well—and may he fulfill Rambam's directive that having a healthy and whole body is among the ways of serving Hashem.
