במענה על מכתבו, בו שואל פרטים בהנוגע להתבוננות בדא"ח, זמנה ואופנה.
והנה מובן שההתבוננות צריכה להתחיל בהבנת הענין, ולפעמים זוכים שבדרך ממילא באים להנועם והעריבות של הענין. ובהנוגע לזמני התבוננות וחילוקם, הנה ילמוד בעיון הדרוש מכתבי כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע הנדפס בהתמים חוברת ד' עמ' מ"ו והמוסג"פ. ובכלל בכגון דא יפרש שיחתו לפני המשפיע דא"ח שלו וזקני אנ"ש אשר שימשו זקני החסידים בתומכי תמימים בליובאוויטש והם יורוהו.
בברכה לתלמוד תורה ביראת שמים ולעבודת התפלה בהצלחה ולהשפיע גם על חבריו שי' בכל זה.

In response to your letter in which you ask for details regarding meditation on Divrei Chassidus—its timing and manner. It is understood that meditation must begin with understanding the subject, and sometimes one merits that, as a result, the pleasantness and sweetness of the matter come naturally.
Regarding the times for meditation and their distinctions: study in depth the discourse from the writings of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, printed in HaTamim booklet 4, page 46, and the enclosed materials. In general, in such matters one should discuss them with his mashpia in Chassidus and with elder Anash who served the elder chassidim in Tomchei Temimim in Lubavitch—they will guide him.
