אין צוזאמענהאנג מיט דעם יארצייט, הילולא-טאג, פון דעם שווער כ"ק אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע, דעם צענטן שבט, הבא עלינו ועל כל ישראל לטובה, ווענדע איך מיך מיט דעם פאלגענדעם פארשלאג:
אין ביך זיכער, אז עס איז איבעריג מאריך צו זיין וועגען דעם שעת הכושר ועת רצון, וואס דער טאג שטעלט מיט זיך פאר פאר אלע אנ"ש און חסידים, וואס, זעלבסטפארשטענדליך, זיינען נשי ובנות חב"ד בכלל זה.
עס זיינען באוואוסט די האפונגען פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר און זיין שטרעבונג, אז נשי ובנות חב"ד זאלען נעמען אן אקטיווען אנטייל אין דער ארבעט פון פארשטארקען און פארברייטערען די חסידישע לעבענספירונג און די חסידישע ערציהונג - בא זיך אין הויז - און אויך אין דער גאנצער סביבה (אומגעבונג), וואס דאס איז אויך געווען איינע פון די הויפט סיבות, וואס ער האט, נאך מיט פילע יאהרען צוריק, אנגעהייבען ארויסגעבען שיחות און לקוטי דבורים אין אידיש דוקא, וואס אין זיי געפינען זיך ידיעות, אנווייזונגען און הנהגות אויך פאר נשי ובנות חב"ד, ענינים וועלכע זיינען א יסוד אין א חסידישען לעבן בפרט און אין א אידישען לעבן בכלל.
דברי צדיקים זיינען חיים וקיימים לעד - אייביג.
וויבאלד דאס איז געווען זיין שטרעבונג און האפנונג, ווירקט דאס אויך איצטער, אז ווען מען גרייט צו די פאסענדע צנורות וכלים, ווערט געגעבען פון אויבען א ספעציעלע הצלחה, אז די ארבעט זאל זיין מיט גרויס ערפאלג.
דערפאר לייג איך פאר: אין דעם הילולא-טאג - עשרה בשבט - (אדער אין א פאסענדען טאג - נאהענט צו דעם טאג), זאלען זיך אלע חברות פון אייער סניף צוזאמענקלייבען, - אויך זאל מען איינלאדען פרויען ניט חברות, אבער וואס אידישקייט איז זיי נאענט און טייער - מען זאל פארלערנען פאר די פארזאמעלטע, צוגעפאסטע שטעלען פון די כתבים ושיחות פון כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר, ווי אויך דערציילען פון זיין לעבן און מסירות נפש פאר אידישקייט תורה ומצות, און דאס זאל אויסגעניצט ווערען און מיטהעלפען אין דעם הויפט ציל פון דעם צוזאמענקומען זיך, א צוגאב אין תוספות-התעוררות און אנשטריינגונג אין דער ארבעט פון אגודת נשי ובנות חב"ד אויף די פערשידענע געביטען פון החזקת היהדות בכלל והפצת החסידות הדרכותי' ומנהגי' בפרט. און ספעציעל - אין די ענינים וועלכע זיינען נוגע נשי ובנות חב"ד ביחוד, וועגען וועלכע עס איז שוין געשריבען געווארען מעהרערע מאל.
און דער אויבערשטער זאל העלפען, אז אלע גוטע החלטות (באשלוסען) זאל אראפקומען אין א בפועל - אין טאהט זאכען, און דאס זאל זיין אן שוועריקייטן און מיט פיל הצלחה.

In connection with the yahrzeit, the day of hilulah, of my father-in-law, the holy Rebbe zatzal, on the tenth of Shevat—which comes upon us and all Israel for good—I turn to you with the following suggestion:
I am certain that it is unnecessary to elaborate on the special opportunity and auspiciousness that this day brings for all Anash and Chasidim, which naturally includes Nshei U'Bnos Chabad as well.
The hopes of my father-in-law, the Rebbe, are well known—his aspiration that Nshei U'Bnos Chabad should take an active part in strengthening and spreading Chasidic living and education—firstly within their own homes—and also throughout their entire environment. This was also one of the main reasons that he began publishing sichos and Likkutei Dibburim in Yiddish many years ago; these contain information, guidance, and conduct specifically for Nshei U'Bnos Chabad—matters that are a foundation in a Chasidic life in particular and a Jewish life in general.
The words of tzaddikim are alive and enduring forever—eternal. Since this was his aspiration and hope, it continues to have an effect even now: when one prepares fitting channels and vessels, special success is granted from Above so that this work will be accomplished with great success.
Therefore I suggest: On this hilulah day—the tenth of Shevat—or on another suitable day close to it—all members of your branch should gather together. Women who are not members but for whom Judaism is dear should also be invited. At this gathering you should study appropriate selections from the writings and talks of my father-in-law, the Rebbe; also recount stories from his life and his self-sacrifice for Judaism, Torah, and mitzvos. This should be used to help achieve the main goal of such a gathering: an increase in inspiration and effort in the work of Agudas Nshei U'Bnos Chabad in various areas—strengthening Judaism generally and spreading Chasidus—its guidance and customs—in particular.
Especially focus on those matters that pertain specifically to Nshei U'Bnos Chabad—which have already been written about several times.
May Hashem help that all good resolutions should be fulfilled in actuality—in deed—and may this happen without difficulty and with much success.
Summary
The Rebbe teaches that women play a vital role in strengthening Jewish life by actively participating in learning, teaching others, organizing gatherings, and inspiring their communities with Torah values.
