בעתו נתקבל המברק מביאתו שלום, ואח"כ מכתבו מר"ח כסלו והקודם לו, ות"ח על הבשו"ט אשר בו. ויה"ר אשר כפתגם כ"ק אדמו"ר מוהר"ש ילך פון גוט צו בעסער בהקדם האפשרי במצב... שליט"א, ובמילא גם בתוכן הבשו"ט שלו. ולפלא קצת שלמרות מה שדברתי עמדו קודם נסעו, שלא יכבידו על... שי' בענינים של יראת שמים כו' וכו', והרי התורה נתנה רשות (שפירושו ג"כ כח) לרופא לרפאות וא"כ הוראותיו בזה ה"ה בכח התורה, ובכ"ז נראה ממכתבו שאין נזהרים בזה. ובודאי גם זה יהי' לטובה, אבל בכ"ז אין זה הנהגה כלל. ועכ"פ מכאן ולהבא ישמעו לציוויי הרופא בזה...

May it be G‑d's will that, as the saying of the Rebbe Maharash goes, things should go from good to better as soon as possible in your situation... may this also be reflected in the content of your good news.
It is somewhat surprising that despite what I spoke about before your trip—that they should not burden you with matters of fear of Heaven and so on—the Torah has given permission (which also means power) to a doctor to heal. Therefore, his instructions have the force of Torah. Nevertheless, it seems from your letter that this is not being observed.
Certainly this too will turn out for good, but still, this is not proper conduct at all. At any rate, from now on you should heed the doctor's instructions in this matter...
