מפני הסדר הנני מאשר בזה קבלת מכתביהם מה' וי"ד תשרי, י"ז י"ט חשון וי"ז כסלו, אשר נתקבלו באיחור זמן, ולפלא שמקמצים כ"כ במכתבים וההפסק בין מכתב למכתב ארוך ביותר.
ב) נפלאתי על אשר ניכר במכ' הרגש של נפילת רוח מהקישויים שפוגשים בעבודתם, שהרי זהו המצב מעת חורבן ביהמ"ק שלכל דבר שבקדושה ישנם כמה העלמות והסתרים ובפרט בהנוגע לאה"ק ת"ו וכמ"ש הרמב"ן ז"ל במכ' מאה"ק ת"ו שכל הקדוש מחבירו חרב מחבירו, ואדרבה הרי ידיעה זו דורשת התעוררות כחות פנימים ועצומים, כי הרי בודאי אין זה אלא שמנסה ה"א לדעת וכמבואר בלקו"ת אשר מנסה פירושו ג"כ לשון נס, ועי"ז נמשך הדעת האמיתי דעת העליון.
ג) בטח ממשיכים בתוקף במקצוע עבודתם להשפיע על הנוער שלע"ע אינו חב"די, אצ"ל שמגזע אנ"ש אלא אפילו אותם שאינם מגזע, כי הרי ידוע פתגם כ"ק אדמו"ר הזקן אשר החסידות הוא ענין לכל ישראל ולא ענין של כתה אחת בלבד, וצדיק גוזר והקב"ה מקיים, ואשרי של כאו"א המשתתף בפעולה זו, ומקרב עי"ז גם את הגאולה האמיתית והשלימה אשר כשיפוצו המעיינות חוצה יבוא גואלנו משיח צדקנו ויגאלנו מכל ההעלמות וההסתרים ויתקן עולם במלכות שדי ולכל בני ישראל יזרח אור ה' ויתענגו בנועם ד' וכמבואר בדרושי חג הפסח - נדפס בס' המאמרים תש"ט - הפירוש בנועם ד'.
ד) בטח יכתבו מפעולותיהם הט' בי"ט כסלו ויו"ד שבט, והימים שבינתיים.
אם איזה ישיבה רוצה שישלחו לה ספרי קה"ת בשביל הספרי' שלה עלי' לפנות ישר לכאן להנהלת המרכז לעניני חינוך.

For the sake of order, I hereby confirm receipt of your letters from the 5th and 14th of Tishrei, the 17th and 19th of Cheshvan, and the 17th of Kislev, which were received after some delay. It is surprising how brief your letters are and how long the intervals between them have become.
b) I am amazed that your letter expresses a sense of discouragement due to the difficulties encountered in your work. This has been the situation since the destruction of the Beis HaMikdash: every matter of holiness faces many concealments and obstacles—especially regarding Eretz HaKodesh—as Ramban z"l writes in his letter from Eretz HaKodesh: "The holier something is than its counterpart, the more desolate it is than its counterpart." On the contrary, this knowledge should awaken deep and powerful inner strength, for surely this is only a test from Hashem to know (as explained in Likkutei Torah that "menaseh" also means "to elevate"), and through this comes true knowledge—daas ha'elyon.
c) Certainly you are continuing with strength in your work to influence youth who are not yet Chabad—needless to say those from Anash families—but even those who are not from such backgrounds. It is well known that the Alter Rebbe said Chassidus is for all Jews, not just one group. A tzaddik decrees and Hashem fulfills; fortunate is everyone who participates in this activity, for through it we bring closer the true and complete redemption. When "the wellsprings spread outward," our Redeemer Mashiach Tzidkeinu will come and redeem us from all concealments and obstacles; He will perfect the world under His sovereignty. For all Jews will shine with G‑d's light and delight in His pleasantness—as explained in Pesach discourses (printed in Sefer HaMaamarim 5709) on "His pleasantness."
d) Surely you will write about your activities on Yud Tes Kislev, Yud Shevat, and during the days between them. If any yeshiva wants Kehot books for its library, it should contact Merkaz L'Inyonei Chinuch here directly. Enclosed is a script regarding expenses for these matters.
