במענה על מכתבם מכ"ח ניסן, שמחתי לקרות בו אשר עלתה בידם ההשתדלות לפעול שישארו במקומם עתה, ובמילא יהיו כולם ביחד, ובטח, אף שאין כותבים עד"ז בפירוש, שיהי' להם כל הזכיות שהבטיחו להם בעת שהתיישבו בכפר חב"ד.
ב) כבר באה העת להשתדל להרבות מספר המתיישבים בהכפר, מבין שאר אנ"ש והקרובים לאנ"ש ברוח, הנמצאים באה"ק ת"ו, ובפרט מהצעירים הנשואים, וגם מבני הנוער, אשר מפני סיבות אינם שייכים ללמוד כל היום, בישיבת תומכי תמימים, אבל אפשר לחייב אותם ולזכותם בלימוד איזה שעות ובחיים של סביבה חסידותית חב"דית כל היום כולו, לרבות הלילה. ובקשר עם הדוחק בדירות השורר באה"ק ת"ו יש לקוות שהברירה תהי' בידם לבחור עידית מבין אלו שירצו להתיישב בהכפר...
בברכת הצלחה בעבודתם בקדש, ויזכם השי"ת זיי זאלן דערפילען לא רק בהנפה"א כ"א גם בשכל האנושי, אשר זיכם השי"ת להיות מהמסייעים ומשתתפים בעבודתו של כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר בבנין היכל חב"ד באה"ק ת"ו.

In response to your letter from the 28th of Nissan, I was pleased to read that your efforts succeeded in ensuring that you remain in your place for now, and thus you will all be together. Certainly, even though this is not written explicitly, you will receive all the privileges that were promised to you when you settled in Kfar Chabad.
2) The time has already come to strive to increase the number of settlers in the village from among other Anash and those close to Anash in spirit who are in Eretz HaKodesh, especially among young married couples and also among the youth who, for various reasons, are not able to study all day in Yeshivat Tomchei Temimim. However, it is possible to obligate them and grant them merit by having them study for some hours and live all day—and night—in a Chabad chassidic environment. In connection with the housing shortage prevailing in Eretz HaKodesh, it can be hoped that you will have the option to choose the best among those who wish to settle in the village...

May Hashem grant you merit so that you fulfill not only with nefesh haBehamit but also with human intellect—which Hashem has granted you—to be among those who assist and participate in the work of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, in building the Chabad sanctuary in Eretz HaKodesh.
