שני מכתביו מר"ח וח' תמוז קבלתי, ואחרי הרצאת הרה"ח והרה"ג וכו' מהורב"ג שי' אדות הענינים באפריקא, הנה לפי דעתי, נכון הדבר אשר יקבל עליו העבודה בשדה החינוך במוסדותינו שם, ואף כי קשה עדיין לקבוע פרטי העבודה שם, כי הרי זה דבר חדש, בכל זה יש לקוות לכר נרחב במקצוע החזקת התורה והיהדות ובמילא להצלחה מופלגת בכחות נשיאנו, הוא כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ, ואשרי חלקם של כל אלו וואס וועלן זיין אפ זיין וואגען. ומובן מעצמו אשר כוונתי שנכון הדבר הוא גם לטובתו וטובת ב"ג תי' ולהסתדרות בחיים מאושרים.
ואיני כותב בזה, כלשון מכתבו אלי, "בתור אנשים פרטים" - כי תמימים בפרט והמקושרים לכ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר הכ"מ בכלל, כל אחד ואחת מהם אינו פרטי, כי אם נר להאיר את כל הסביבה, ואישים חיים להחיות ולהחיות בפועל עוד אחד עוד שנים עוד שלשה וכו' ופירותיהם עושים פירות ופירי פירותיהן עד סוף כל העולם - ל' העלם והסתר. ונוסף על השכר מצוה המצוה עצמה שממלאים תפקידם בחיים, הרי זה גופא כלי המקבל וממשיך ברכות צדיק, דאשתכח עתה בהאי עלמא יתיר מבחיוהי, בגשמיות וברוחניות בכל המצטרך.
בפרטי עבודתו, ובטח תשתתף גם ב"ג תי' במשך הזמן בזה, עוד נתדבר כשיהי' קרוב יותר להנסיעה צלחה, אלא שכיון שהשגת הניירות לוקח זמן מסוים, טוב אשר יגישו הבקשה ע"ז בהקדם, ובטח יש אופנים ונוסחאות המקצרים את הזמן והחקו"ד עד שמגישים הניירות, ויתודע אדות זה על נכון.

I received your two letters from Rosh Chodesh and the 8th of Tammuz. After hearing from Haraha"ch and Haraha"g etc. Mehorabg Binyamin Grudetsky about the matters in Africa, in my opinion it is proper that you accept the work in the field of chinuch (education) in our institutions there. Even though it is still difficult to determine the details of the work since this is something new, nevertheless one can hope for a broad scope in strengthening Torah and Judaism, leading to great success with the powers of our Nasi, my revered father-in-law the Rebbe hk"m. Fortunate is the portion of all those who will be among those who take up this mission.
It is self-evident that my intention is that this is also for your benefit and that of your wife tichyeh, and for establishing a happy life together.
I am not writing here, as you wrote to me, "as private individuals," because Temimim especially—and those connected to my revered father-in-law the Rebbe hk"m in general—none of them are private individuals; rather, each one is a lamp to illuminate their entire environment. They are living people who enliven others—one more person, two more people, three more people, etc.—and their fruits produce fruits and fruits of fruits until the end of all worlds—to the limit of concealment and hiddenness.
In addition to the reward for the mitzvah itself—that they fulfill their life's mission—this itself becomes a vessel that receives and draws down blessings from a tzaddik who is now found in this world even more than during his lifetime, both materially and spiritually in all needs.
Regarding details of your work—and certainly your wife tichyeh will also participate over time—we will discuss further when it gets closer to your successful journey. However, since obtaining the necessary papers takes some time, it would be good to submit your application as soon as possible. Surely there are ways and formats that shorten the time and procedures until submitting the papers; you should inquire about this properly.
