א) נתקבלו מכתביו מכ"ז וכ"ט ניסן בצירוף עוד קארעקטן מהפס"ד. ולפלא שלא שלח ע"ע כלל הקארעקטן דהשו"ע. ונא למהר לשלחם, וכן השערים דהפס"ד.
ב) בינתים בטח קיבל מכתבי מר"ח אייר עם השיחה, וכן התיקונים להקארעקטן הקודמים. בקארעקטן דעתה צריך לתקן: ב"פרשת דבר" שורה י"א: "בחידושיו על הש"ס שבדפוס" וצ"ל "בחדושיו והשו"ת שבדפוס". שם שורה ב' מלמטה: "יו"ד ב"ח". וצ"ל "יו"ד ג"ח". שם אחר תיבת "או"ח" נמצאו שלשה זאפיאטאיעס וצ"ל רק אחת. במפתחות: כיון שראיתי שבלאה"כ המדפיסים עושים נומעראציע חדשה כסדר, טוב שבהמפתח יציינו העמודים ע"פ נומעראציע זו, שהיא בלי הפסק מהתחלת הספר ועד סופו. כן צריך לציין העמודים גם להשמטות והערות (בהמפתח דח"ב).
ג) ע"פ החלטת כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר שליט"א - טלגרפנו לו ביום א' שימהר ככל האפשרי לגמור ההדפסה דהשו"ע והפס"ד בהקדם היותר אפשרי כיון שכבר התחיל בהם. ואין כדאי לכרכם שם, כ"א לעשות, כהצעתו, כמו בראשיורע, ולחבשם ולשלחם ג"כ בהקדם היותר אפשרי ע"י נוסעים. כן הננו משתדלים ע"ד שילוח מאשינע עוה"פ.
ואפשר בכ"י ויום שתבוא, וגם משו"ז צ"ל הכל מן המובן.

a) I received your letters from the 27th and 29th of Nissan along with another set of corrections for the Piskei Din. It is surprising that you have not yet sent any corrections at all for the Shulchan Aruch. Please hurry to send them, as well as the gates (sections) of the Piskei Din.
b) In the meantime, you have surely received my letter from Rosh Chodesh Iyar with the sichah, as well as the corrections to previous sets of corrections. In the current set of corrections, please fix: In "Parashas Dvar," line 11: "bechidushav al haShas sheb'dafus" should read "bechidushav veShe'elot u'Teshuvot sheb'dafus." There, second line from bottom: "Yoreh De'ah Beis Chet" should be "Yoreh De'ah Gimmel Chet." There, after the word "Orach Chaim," there are three zapiateis (commas), but there should be only one. In the indexes: Since I see that in any case the printers are making a new sequential numbering, it is best that in the index they indicate page numbers according to this numbering, which runs continuously from start to end of the book. The same should be done for omissions and notes (in volume two's index).
c) According to a directive from my father-in-law, the Rebbe shlita—we telegraphed you on Sunday to hurry as much as possible to finish printing both Shulchan Aruch and Piskei Din as quickly as possible since you have already begun them. It is not worthwhile to bind them there; rather, do as you suggested—like in Berashiora—bind them and send them also as quickly as possible via travelers. We are also working on arranging another machine for shipping. It may arrive any day now; therefore everything should be self-understood because of this.
I repeat my father-in-law’s instructions to hurry with all of the above. I await good news soon regarding fulfillment of our requests above in detail...
