Shalom u'Vrachah!

a) My letters from 19 Kislev and 11 Teves were surely received in their proper time. It is surprising that so far there has been no response to them.

b) In recent days we received: our Sefer vol. 4 – 620; Sefer HaSichos – 661; Shaarei Orah – 764; our Sefer vol. 1 – 450; Tanya – one hundred. It is surprising that there is nothing at all of Ma'aneh Lashon and Shaar HaEmunat Yisrael. I repeat my request to immediately inform what else was sent and is still on the way, and to send as much as possible of what has not yet been sent, especially Likkutei Torah, Torah Ohr, and the above-mentioned works.

c) Last Thursday was finally received by post: one Likkutei Torah from the sender Rabbi Shapira, without any difficulties or questions here at all. It is very appropriate that he—and his colleagues similarly—should send Likkutei Torah and Torah Ohr etc. to the Rebbe Rayatz shlita, to Rabbi Chadakov, to Mr. Mindel, to me, to Melamed LeChayal for Machane Yisrael, to Kehot Publication Society, etc., and of course he should notify us whom he sent them to.

d) Again I urge the printing of the psak din (halachic ruling) and completion of the printing of Shulchan Aruch. As has now become clear, it must state in the margin of the first title page of all books the words: Printed in Germany.

e) In my introduction to Likkutei Torah it is necessary to add in the list of printings: Vilna – 5645 (1885). And in this edition's line it should say year 5664 (1904). Certainly it is easiest to make a stamp (petshat) with this text: At the beginning of line six were omitted the words: there [Vilna] 5645 (1885). At the end of line seven were omitted the words: year 5664 (1904). And stamp it below my introduction.

f) Enclosed is a transcript from talks on Yom Kippur. On condition that a copy will be sent from it to Rabbi Mordechai Perlau shlita. Also enclosed is a booklet for the 24th of Teves—a letter from the Rebbe Rayatz shlita and a letter from Machane Yisrael. Certainly you will inform what was done regarding this.

g) If there is need in camps or places where you have connections for "Hayom Yom" calendars or "Haggadah with Likkutei Taamim u'Minhagim," and if this will not delay printing other books—you may print them and sell them with a small markup over your printing costs; here send only about one hundred copies of "Hayom Yom."

I remain as always awaiting your detailed letter as soon as possible.
