א) בטח הגיע לכמ"ע מכתבנו מט' שבט והמכתב הכללי בענין הפצת עניני הדפוס ומחכים אנו לדעת מה נעשה בזה.
ב) באשר תמו כבר כל ספרי התניא שנמצאו ברשותנו ורבו בע"ה הרוצים ללמד בהם, הננו לבקשו להשתדל שישלחו לנו מספרי התניא דפוס א"י במספר כמאה אם אפשרי, וגם להודיענו את מחירם.
ג) אחד מידידנו בקש אותנו למצא מי שיוכל לעורר בחור אחד בא"י ושמו... אשר לפנים, כנראה, למד והלך בדרך הישרה ואח"כ סר ממנה. אביו זקנו של הבחור הזה ר'...
ואפשר לברר אצלו כל הדרוש ע"ד הבחור.
ולכן הננו לבקש את כמ"ע למסר את הענין למי שראוי לזה ושיתמסר להצלת נפשו ולעוררו לתורה ומצוות.

a) Surely our letter from the 9th of Shevat and the general letter regarding spreading matters of printing have reached you, and we are waiting to know what has been done about this.
b) Since all the Tanya books in our possession have already run out, and thank G‑d there are many who wish to study them, we ask you to try to have about one hundred Tanya books printed in Eretz Yisrael sent to us if possible, and also let us know their price.
c) One of our friends asked us to find someone who can inspire a certain young man in Eretz Yisrael whose name is... who apparently once studied and walked the straight path but then strayed from it. The young man's grandfather is Reb... and it is possible to clarify everything necessary about the young man with him. Therefore, we ask you to pass this matter on to someone suitable who will devote himself to saving his soul and inspiring him toward Torah and mitzvos. We would appreciate it if you inform us of the results.
