קבלתי מכתבו מיום ה' העבר, בו כותב ע"ד מצבו וכן ע"ד כאב רגלו הימנית.
והנה ידוע אשר רגל ברוחניות הוא ענין הצדקה וענין האמונה, ובמילא למרות מצבו הדחוק שנמצא הוא ביותר עליו להוסיף כח להשתדל ביותר הן בענין נתינת הצדקה וכן בענין האמונה פשוטה ובטחון חזק בהשי"ת הרופא כל בשר ומפליא לעשות, אשר ישלח לו רפואתו שלימה ומפליא לעשות להפוך את מצבו מן הקצה אל הקצה, והצנור והכלי להמשכת וקבלת ברכות אלו הם הקביעות עתים בתורת הנגלה ובתורת החסידות והידור בקיום המצות והשי"ת יצליחו ויזכהו לבשר בשו"ט בהנ"ל.

I received your letter from last Thursday, in which you write about your situation as well as about the pain in your right leg.
It is known that the leg, spiritually, represents the concept of tzedakah (charity) and also faith. Therefore, despite your difficult circumstances, you should make an even greater effort to increase both in giving tzedakah and in simple faith and strong trust in Hashem, Who heals all flesh and works wonders. May He send you a complete healing and wondrously transform your situation from one extreme to the other. The channel and vessel for drawing down and receiving these blessings are fixed times for studying both the revealed Torah and Chassidus, as well as beautifying the observance of mitzvos. May Hashem grant you success and merit you to share good news regarding all the above.
