I was pleased to receive your letter from Motzaei Shabbos Parshas Vayigash, and for several reasons, my response was delayed until now.

While I was at the Ohel of my revered father-in-law, the Rebbe, of blessed memory, I mentioned you and your family, especially regarding matters of shidduchim and matches. But surely you know the verse 'uVerachacha Hashem Elokecha bechol asher ta'aseh' ("And the L‑rd your G‑d will bless you in all that you do"), which means one must also take action. It is also known what the righteous chassid Reb Zusia of Anipoli, of blessed memory, said: that one can learn things about serving G‑d from every person—even those who do not behave properly. He learned several things from a thief; among them is that when he tries the first time and does not succeed, nevertheless he tries a second and third time until eventually he succeeds. And since the measure of good is greater, etc., especially regarding matches—about which our Sages said it is difficult, etc.—one must try again and again. But ultimately it is certain that suitable matches will be found, and there is no need to fear making efforts in this matter.

I was pleased to read in your letter that those you met benefited from the booklets, and enclosed is the booklet for Yud Tes Kislev which was recently published. May it be G‑d's will that He grant you to share good news about all of the above very soon.
