בא מיר וואלט אויסגעקומען, אז איר זאלט פרעגן די מיינונג פון צוויי דאקטוירים ספעציאליסטן, און איר וועט זיי אויך דערציילן אייער מיינונג, און אויב בא זיי וועט אויסקומען, אז איר זאלט מאכן די אפעראציע, זאלט איר זי מאכן בשעה טובה ומוצלחת לויט זייערע אנווייזונגען, און דער אויבערשטער וועט געבן עס זאל דורכגיין כשורה ובהצלחה, און איר זאלט האבן אריכות ימים ושנים טובות, וואס דאס מיינט גאר כפשוטו א סך לאנגע גוטע און רואיקע יאר, אבער עס האט אויך אן אינערליכע מיינונג, אז די יארן זאלן אויך זיין לאנג און גוט ברוחניות, דאס הייסט, אנגעפילט מיט אידישקייט, אידישקייט פאר זיך און אויך דורך השפעה אויף דעם ארום, ובפרט אויף קינדער און אייניקלעך, זיי זאלן פירן זייערע הייזער און זייער לעבן בדרך התורה והמצוה.
איצט אין די "דריי וואכן", וועלכע דערמאנען אונז די צייט פון חורבן, דארף מען אויך געדיינקען וואס די גמרא דערציילט אונז, אז דער עיקר סיבה פון חורבן איז שנאת חינם. אזוי ווי מיר ווילן אלע און האפן אלע אויף דער גאולה שלימה ואמיתית בקרוב ממש, דארף מען לעגן ספעציעלע השתדלות אראפצונעמען די סיבה וואס האט גורם געווען צום חורבן, ד.ה. מען דארף לעגן ספעציעלע השתדלות אויף אהבת ישראל. דאס איז בפרט שייכות צו כהנים, וועלכע זאגן אין ברכת כהנים - לברך את עמו ישראל באהבה, וואס לויט ווי כ"ק מו"ח אדמו"ר זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע האט איבערגעגעבן אין נאמען פון איינעם פון די צדיקים נסתרים, האבן די ווערטער אין זיך אויך די כוונה - צו בענטשן זיין פאלק ישראל מיט דער מידה פון אהבה, זיי זאלן האבן אהבה איינער צום צווייטן, און זאלן דאס אויסדריקן מיט מעשים בפועל, בגשמיות און נאך מער ברוחניות.

I was pleased to have the opportunity to meet your two sons who visited me. They made a good impression on me, and I am certain that if you speak with them from time to time a bit more about Judaism and the practical observance of mitzvos, it will resonate with them appropriately. This will also be reflected in them and their households by drawing closer to Torah and mitzvos even more than until now.
In our conversation, they told me that you suffer from prostate issues and that a doctor has suggested it may be worthwhile to have an operation. However, you are considering this carefully because you feel you may not be strong enough for it. In my opinion, you should consult with two specialist doctors and share your thoughts with them. If they both conclude that you should have the operation, then you should proceed with it at an auspicious and successful time according to their instructions. May the Alm-ghty grant that it goes smoothly and successfully, and may you merit long life and good years—which literally means many long, good, and peaceful years. But it also has an inner meaning: that these years should also be long and good spiritually—that is, filled with Jewishness for yourself and also through influencing those around you—especially your children and grandchildren—so they conduct their homes and lives according to Torah and mitzvah.
Now during the "Three Weeks," which remind us of the time of destruction (the Beis HaMikdash), we must also remember what the Gemara tells us: that the main reason for the destruction was baseless hatred (Sin'as Chinam). Since we all want—and hope—for the complete and true redemption soon, we must make special efforts to remove the cause of destruction; that is, we must make special efforts toward Ahavas Yisrael (love for fellow Jews). This is especially relevant for Kohanim who say in Birchas Kohanim: "to bless His people Israel with love," which—as my father-in-law the Rebbe taught in the name of one of the hidden tzaddikim—these words also mean blessing His people Israel with the trait of love: that they should have love for one another and express this through actual deeds—physically and even more so spiritually.
