המצווה הע"ט
האזהרה שהזהרנו מלבנות מזבח מאבנים שנגע בהן ברזל.
והוא אמרו יתעלה: "לא תבנה אתהן גזית כי חרבך וכו'" (שמות כ, כב).
ואם בנה מהן מזבח, הרי הוא פסול, ואין מקריבין עליו.
וכבר נתבארו דיני מצווה זו בפרק ג' ממדות.
The 79th Prohibition
1. The prohibition in which we were warned not to build an altar from stones that have been touched by iron.
2. This is as He, may He be exalted, said: "Do not build them of hewn stone, for if you wield your sword upon it, etc." (Shemos 20:22).
3. And if one built an altar from such stones, it is invalid, and offerings may not be brought upon it.
