המצווה הקכ"ה
הציווי שנצטווינו להפריש את הבכורים ולהביאם למקדש.
והוא אמרו יתעלה: "ראשית בכורי אדמתך תביא בית ה' אלהיך" (שמות כג, יט).
ופשוט: שמצווה זו אינה נוהגת אלא בפני הבית.
ואינם באים אלא מפירות ארץ ישראל, וסוריא, ועבר הירדן.
ומשבעת המינים בלבד.
וכבר נתבארנו דיני מצווה זו במסכת בכורים.
ושם נתבאר, שהם, כלומר, "הבכורים", נכסי כהן.
The 125th mitzvah
The commandment in which we were commanded to set aside the first fruits and bring them to the Mikdash.
This is as He, may He be exalted, said: "The first of the first fruits of your land you shall bring to the house of Hashem your G‑d" (Shemos 23:19).
It is clear that this mitzvah applies only when the Beis HaMikdash is standing.
And they are brought only from the fruits of Eretz Yisroel, Suria, and the other side of the Jordan.
And only from the seven species.
The laws of this mitzvah have already been explained in Maseches Bikurim.
And there it is explained that they, meaning the first fruits, are the property of the Kohen.
