מכתבו הגיעני באיחור קצת. ואף שלא מזכיר דבר בהמשך לתוכן שיחתנו, הנני מניח שבטח הי' לזה המשך טוב, אלא שאפשר שבענינים כגון אלה אין האריכות בכתב מתאימה להם. אף על פי כן תקותי שבהזדמנות מתאימה אשמע ממנו בהמשך לענינים שדברנו ות"ח מראש.
מאז נפגשנו נשתנו כמה ענינים, אבל כמדומה לי שבענינים שדברנו לא רק שלא ארע משהו שיביא שינוי בדעתי, אלא אדרבה רואני בהם אישור.
ויהי רצון, שכשם שנכתב מכתבו בחול המועד פסח, זמן חרותנו, יהי' לכל אחד ואחד בתוככי כלל ישראל חרות אמיתית מכל ענינים המבלבלים.
בהזדמנות זו אבקשו למסור פ"ש משמי לידידנו ומכרינו.

Even though you did not mention anything further regarding the content of our conversation, I assume that there was a positive continuation; however, perhaps in such matters it is not appropriate to elaborate in writing. Nevertheless, I hope that on a suitable occasion I will hear from you further regarding the matters we discussed—thank you in advance.
Since we met, several things have changed; but it seems to me that regarding the matters we discussed, not only has nothing occurred to change my opinion, but on the contrary—I see confirmation of it.
May it be G‑d's will that just as your letter was written during Chol HaMoed Pesach—the season of our freedom—so too may each and every one within all of Israel experience true freedom from all confusing matters.
On this occasion I ask you to convey regards from me to our friends and acquaintances.
