I hereby acknowledge receipt of your letter. As we approach the new year that is coming upon us and all Israel for good and blessing, I hereby express my blessing to you and all your household for a good inscription and sealing for a good and sweet year, both materially and spiritually.
May it be G‑d's will that very soon the prophecy will be fulfilled: "And I will grant peace in the land, and you shall lie down with none to frighten you...and a sword shall not pass through your land" (Vayikra 26:6)—and as our Sages of blessed memory interpret—even a sword of peace—and "I will lead you upright."
