בערד, ודובר אז ג"כ על דבר ערכי היהדות הנצחיים וכו' והבטחתו בזה, אבל אינו דומה דבר שבצפי' לדבר שבפועל. ותקותי על פי הידיעות מאנ"ש שעושה בזה באופן דמוסיף והולך שכן צריך להיות בכל דבר שיש בו רוח חיים, וביחוד אצל יהודי

תקותי שלעת קבלת מכתבי הוטב מצב בריאותו ועושה בכיון האמור באופן דמוסיף והולך, ובמיוחד בנוגע לאחינו שזה עתה באו ממדינה ההיא, שבודאי תינתן להם האפשרות להמשיך ביחד בסביבה הכי קרובה להם ולא יתפזרו ויפרדו וכו'.

נ.ב. אתו הסליחה שעד עתה לא נענה על דבר ההשתייכות, שלעת עתה עוד לא מצא[ו] שייכות, ועדיין מחפשים, ואז כמובן יושלח מענה.

I received your letter in due time, along with its enclosure. I also received reports from Anash who have met and continue to meet you, always emphasizing how warmly you receive them and how you help them within your new position, etc.
Although your attitude is not surprising—especially after our meeting a few years ago when we discussed your work in Arad and also spoke about the eternal values of Judaism and your commitment to them—still, there is no comparison between something anticipated and something actually carried out.
I hope, based on the reports from Anash, that you are indeed increasing your efforts as is fitting for anything imbued with vitality—especially for a Jew who is commanded to ascend in holiness. It is clear that when one sees the opportunity to do good continually increasing, this is a sign from Above to utilize it fully. All the more so since your positive portion is to act in this regard in the Land upon which the eyes of the L‑rd are always present from the beginning of the year until its end.
I hope that by the time you receive my letter your health has improved and that you are proceeding as mentioned above with ever-increasing effort—especially regarding our brethren who have just arrived from that country. Certainly they will be given the opportunity to continue together within their closest environment and not be scattered or separated, etc.

P.S. Please forgive me that until now there was no response regarding affiliation; at present no suitable connection has yet been found, but we are still searching. When it is found, a reply will of course be sent.
